Firefighters From Other States Are Coming To Battle California Wildfires!

The fires in California have been horrific seeing the state we know and love on fire and seeing so many people lose their homes.

The Woolsey Fire has officially burned 96,314 acres and 35% has been contained.

The community has come together to show love and support for our firefighters, first responders, and all of those who have lost their homes.

The Wildfires have killed 42 people in Northern California and two in Southern California.

The official Twitter account of California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection posted a picture of a map of the United States thanking other states for assisting California battling these wildfires.

What started as 6 states coming to California to help went up to 7 states, then 8 states, then 9 states, and now 17 states are being sent to help contain these fires.

The states include: Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, South Dakota, Missouri, Tennessee, Indiana, and Georgia.

If you scroll down you can see the map get filled in with the assistance of out of state firefighters.

We want to thank all of the brave firefighters and first responders for all that you do for us and to stay safe battling these wildfires throughout California!
