Are you looking for a new job and want to make sure you find a good company this time? Well, “Fortune” has just made things a little easier, with their annual list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For, although whether they’re hiring is another story.
The mag compiled their list using a variety of employee surveys, which asked questions about things like quality of their leaders, people-focused programs and more. Other factors include compensation and benefits, like perks and paid time off, as well as diversity and more.
Coming in at number one for the first time is Salesforce, which got high marks for offering employees rich rewards, “both monetary and psychic.” It also promotes philanthropy, offering employees 56 hours a year to volunteer in their community, and even provides employees with dedicated “mindfulness” rooms, and floors that celebrate the company “Ohana,” whih is Hawaiian for family.
