John Stamos Breaks Silence On Lori Loughlin's 'Difficult' Situation

It hasn't been easy for Fuller House stars like John Stamos to deal with the media's scrutiny over Lori Loughlin's headline-making controversy since being accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to get her daughters admitted into the University of Southern California.

In Stamos' new interview with ET, the 55-year-old actor spoke about moving forward and how confusing it has been for all Fuller House parties as the series moves onto its fifth and final season. "I haven't been on the show yet and it hasn't come up, so I'm going to talk to some people about it this week and see what's going on," the actor told host Nancy O'Dell. "I'm just going to wait a little longer before I talk about it. It's a difficult situation for everyone involved. I don't mean just on our side."

Stamos serves as the producer for the final season of the Netflix show, but he said that he's still trying to "figure it out" when it comes to his 54-year-old onscreen wife. The final season of Fuller House is expected to be broken into two parts, with nine episodes apiece, but the idea of another spin-off is certainly a thought that has crossed minds.

"There's a lot of energy," Stamos said of how fans have connected with the Tanner family after all these years. "I haven't spoken about this at all. I'm not going to really, but there's a lot of energy still with that show. There's too much. There's too much happiness that that show has brought for a lot of people. So it's not going to go down easy."
